Very cool concept. Took me a second to work it out. Not because it is confusing, but the colors drew me to the death side, so I didn't look at the living side right away. But after I did I totally picked up on what you were going for and it really works.

I have always been curious about Día de Muertos and the death culture surrounding that tradition, but I must confess I haven't explored it beyond what you see in popular culture, which is a shortcoming. This outlook on death seems much more interesting and celebratory than many other cultures, and that really comes across in this, which is why I think this it is so effective.

Just a little thing to look out for. In future make sure to watch for the slant. Every artist has a slanting bias, I know I do, so when we think we are drawing straight or square we actually aren't. There is usually a bias one way or the other. Even when you know you're doing it, it can be hard to avoid. Best way to watch for it is flipping. Easier to do when drawing digitally, for obvious reasons, but you can use a mirror when working traditionally. I have a small (A4/Letter Sized) mirror that I hold perpendicular to the table so I can see the mirrored image of the drawing, and it makes it easier to see the slant, and any other minor mistakes that you don't pick up the first time through.

Anyway, just wanted say again that this is great work. Clap
Keep it up.
